Teachers will learn the following components of Schoology: change basic settings (course image, teacher profile options, etc.), set up and sync a grade book, create different types of assignments, assessments, discussion posts, links, etc., effectively organize folders within Schoology, create agendas that can be accessed by students and parents, send announcements and messages within the platform, mark assignments as late, missing, exempt, etc., and review assignment/assessment data.

From Google to Schoology: Creating Live Pages from Slides

This session will start with creating interactive Google Slideshows that include links from one slide to the next. You will then learn how to take those slides and make them into a live web page that can be linked in Schoology or Thrillshare. These live pages can be sent to parents, students, or linked on a platform like Schoology. I will show you how to take the code into Schoology. It sounds complicated, but it is just a few clicks! This is a fun and exciting way to increase your digital use in your classroom. These can also be used to create engaging and aesthetically pleasing visuals for parents as well.
