Today’s students are more connected than ever—but at what cost? Drawing from Jonathan Haidt’s The Anxious Generation and Nicholas Kardaras’ Glow Kids, this session examines the profound mental health and social consequences of growing up in a screen-saturated world. From rising anxiety and depression to diminished social skills and digital dependence, we’ll explore how technology is reshaping childhood and adolescence. Educators will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges their students face and the urgent need for a cultural shift in how young people engage with technology.
