Tina Lampe has been with Conway Public School District for 19 years. Tina is a school counselor at Conway Junior High School. In 2009 she worked with Department of Career and Technical Education to modify and update the course frameworks and developed a resource guide for FACS teachers across the state. She contributed to the FACS Advisory Board with University of Central Arkansas. In December 2013 she completed a Master's program in School Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas. In 2015 she was named as Conway School District's Teacher of the Year and became a National Board Certified Teacher.
Tina was asked and happily obliged to be a part of the Career and Technical Education Regional Advisory Council. This council works with local business men and women to get feedback on how the current educational system can provide better career opportunities for Arkansas students. There are six career clusters and Tina was part of the Education and Training cluster where she contacted several people to be a part of the Advisory Council and will develop questions and serve as the moderator for the opening session in March 2015.
She was a presenter for Technology Information Center for Administrator Leadership (TICAL). She provided technology information on Google Apps for Education which she herself used on a regular basis as a classroom teacher.
Tina sponsored the club Future Educators Association. These students are interested in the field of education and she provides community service opportunities such as Silver Moon Cinema and fundraising for local non-profit organizations in her community. She also secured a grant to take her FEA members to LocoRopes in Mountain View, AR to take part in team building activities.
Tina is often called an “Over Achiever”, because of the time and effort she puts into everything she does.
