This session will provide school staff with a practical overview of how to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in the educational settings.  We'll explore the role of the EARS program, types of hearing loss and their educational impact, and the latest amplification options and connectivity tools.  Participants will also learn how to implement effective classroom accommodations and conduct Ling 6 sound checks.  Whether you're new to working with students who are D/HH or looking to strengthen your strategies, this session offers valuable tools you can use right away.

AR Transition: Charting the Path to Positive Post-School Outcomes LIMITED

This session we will discuss this interactive tool that covers all the components in writing a Transition Plan. Starting with selecting and administering assessment(s), writing measurable goals and supporting actives, development of a quality courses of study, affirming the presence of annual academic goals that support the post school goals and how to make sure agency involvement is present when/if needed.
